Pricing page copy audits before finance signs off

Finance cares about numbers; legal cares about promises; design cares about scannability. PMMs sit in the middle. Run the page through a promise audit: highlight every verb that implies outcome (“increase”, “guarantee”, “always”). Replace with mechanics: what the tier includes, how billing works, and where limits apply.
Add a plain-language footnote layer. Even if legal owns final text, PMMs should draft first-pass footnotes that explain proration, tax display, and cancellation mechanics. That reduces back-and-forth when the page is already coded.
Close with a screenshot archive. Store weekly captures during soft launch so you can prove what customers saw if a dispute arises. It is boring hygiene that saves weeks later.
